COMMANDER-IN-CHIEF OF THE ROYAL THAI AIR FORCE RECEIVES THE RBAIRF HONORARY PILOT WING

RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Monday, 3 December 2018 – With the consent of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, the Minister of Defence and the Supreme Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF), Air Chief Marshal Chaiyapruk Didyasarin, Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Thai Air Force (RTAF), was conferred the Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) Honorary Pilot Wings in recognition for his service in advancing the ties between the RBAirF and the RTAF.

The Commander of RBAF, Major General Pengiran Dato Paduka Seri Aminan bin Pengiran Haji Mahmud, presented the award to Air Chief Marshal Chaiyapruk Didyasarin.

Air Chief Marshal Chaiyapruk Didyasarin is in Brunei Darussalam for the ceremony and also his introductory visit to the RBAirF. Upon his arrival to the RBAirF Base, he was received with the Honourary Salute by the Guard of Honour comprising of personnel from the RBAirF, followed by the RBAirF Honourary Pilot Wing Presentation. Whilst in Brunei Darussalam, he also paid courtesy calls on the Second Minister of Defence, Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Major General (Retired) Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Md Yussof. Both sides welcomed the good defence relations between both countries, which is fostered through regular bilateral interactions comprising of exchange of visits, military exercises, trainings and courses and, also at the multilateral level such as those under the framework of the ASEAN Defence Minister’s Meeting (ADMM). He also called on the Commander of RBAF, as well as the Commander of RBAirF.

Air Chief Marshal Chaiyapruk Didyasarin was appointed the Commander-in-Chief, RTAF on 1 October 2018.






COMMANDER-IN-CHIEF TENTERA UDARA DIRAJA THAILAND DIANUGERAH LENCANA JURUTERBANG KEHORMAT TUDB

PANGKALAN TENTERA UDARA RIMBA, Isnin, 3 Disember 2018 – Kebawah Duli Yang Maha Mulia Paduka Seri Baginda Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan dan Yang Di-Pertuan Negara Brunei Darussalam, Menteri Pertahanan dan Pemerintah Tertinggi Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei (ABDB) berkenan menganugerahkan Lencana Juruterbang Kehormat Tentera Udara Diraja Brunei (TUDB) kepada Commander-in-Chief Tentera Udara Diraja Thailand (TUDT), Air Chief Marshal Chaiyapruk Didyasarin sebagai penghargaan jasa perkhidmatan beliau dalam mengeratkan lagi perhubungan di antara TUDB dan TUDT.

Penganugerahan Lencana Juruterbang Kehormat TUDB telah disempurnakan oleh Pemerintah ABDB, Mejar Jeneral Pengiran Dato Paduka Seri Aminan bin Pengiran Haji Mahmud.

Air Chief Marshal Chaiyapruk Didyasarin sedang berada di Negara Brunei Darussalam bagi acara penganugerahan tersebut dan juga kunjungan pengenalan beliau ke TUDB. Sejurus tiba di Pangkalan Tentera Udara Rimba, Air Chief Marshal Chaiyapruk Didyasarin disambut dengan Tabik Hormat daripada barisan Kawalan Kehormatan yang terdiri daripada anggota TUDB, dan diteruskan dengan Penganugerahan Lencana Juruterbang Kehormat TUDB. Semasa lawatan pengenalan ini, beliau telah mengadakan kunjungan hormat kepada Menteri Pertahanan Kedua, Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Mejar Jeneral (Bersara) Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Md Yussof. Kedua-dua pihak juga menyambut baik hubungan pertahanan yang baik di antara kedua-dua negara, melalui interaksi dua hala yang kerap seperti pertukaran lawatan, eksesais ketenteraan, latihan dan kursus-kursus dan juga termausk interaksi pelbagai hala seperti di bawah rangka kerja Mesyuarat Menteri-Menteri Pertahanan ASEAN (ADMM). Beliau juga mengadakan kunjungan hormat kepada Pemerintah ABDB dan Pemerintah TUDB.

Air Chief Marshal Chaiyapruk Didyasarin telah mengambil alih tugas sebagai Commander-in-Chief TUDT pada 1 Oktober 2018.
